Like any business that plans to be around for a while, we understand that our community relies on our best practice and support for continued growth for all. As members of the Border Kei Chamber of Business (BKCOB), we are actively involved in the interests of the city and the region and have identified key projects which we support.

These include projects around renewable energy and as far as we are able to, we support all efforts in this regard. Our waste is disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. See our current Enviroserv certificate for your peace of mind. We use water soluble paint as an industry standard, and our Business Manager volunteers on the “Clean Up Buffalo City” BKCOB committee as part of our commitment to our community and our environment. We welcome any ideas and suggestions from you, our valued client, as to how you would like to see us making a difference.

Projects that we currently support

Canaan Care Centre

Canaan Care Centres is an Edu-Therapy Day Care facility for children with severe and profound physical and mental disability.

Buckaroo - give a rand

They help many charities by renovating dog kennels, as they are very small. The goal is to double the size of the kennels & build runs for exercise. This gives the animals a better quality of life while awaiting adoption.

Work 4 All

Work4All is a social enterprise that serves the vision to re-ignite hope in the lives of disenfranchised South Africans through targeted skills development, enterprise development and sustainability consulting.

Living Waters

Living Waters, a registered non-profit organisation based in East London, was founded in January 1998 from a single pot of soup to feed homeless people in the City area.

Clarendon Girls Rowing

Clarendon is one of only three schools in East London that offer rowing. Practice takes place on the Buffalo River and we participate in regattas all over South Africa including Knysna, Port Elizabeth and the SA Champs in Pretoria.

Salem Baby Clinic

Salem Baby Care Centre plays a small but meaningful part in eradicating poverty and its causes, and addressing the lack and destitution in our communities in the city of East London by helping children.

Eyabantwana, For the Children's Trust is an independent Trust established to support the work of the Eastern Cape Paediatrics Surgical Services.
